October Newsletter
Welcome Bandtober
We are excited to kick off another fantastic month with all of you! As we head into October, we look forward to new performances, more games (and concessions), and the continued growth of our band family. This is a schedule-heavy month with lots to cover. Please read to the end for important information. Make sure you’re checking Remind and Band Boosters often and, as always, don’t hesitate to reach out for more information. Thank you for your support and commitment—let's make this a Bandtober to remember!
Letter From the Board President
A huge thank-you to everyone who has volunteered their time and energy in the concession stand so far this season! We know it’s not always easy work (and definitely not for everyone), but your effort truly makes a difference. On behalf of the Booster Board and the entire band program, we appreciate you more than words can say.
The season isn’t over yet—we still have plenty of home games ahead, and we’ll continue to need your help on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Remember, each shift a student works earns them an entry into our drawing for a Band Camp Scholarship! Parents can volunteer on behalf of their child and still have a chance to win, too. Students in 9th grade and up can also earn the state-required community service hours, and high school students will receive band merits for their volunteer time.
Your support keeps our band program strong—thank you for all you do!

Senior Banners
Our seniors hung their banners on the fence of the football field, a symbol of their dedication to music and each other. It was a deeply emotional moment for many. Nostalgia and heartfelt memories filled the air as the reality began to sink in – we’re nearing an end of an era and the beginning of new adventures. To our seniors – we’re proud of you!
Bryant Invitational
Our students attended their first competition at the all-day Bryant Invitational on September 26th, earning 1st division awards in color guard, percussion, and band. Go Benton!
Homecoming
Homecoming festivities had an amazing turnout, bringing together our students, their families, and alumni to celebrate Panther Pride. Our band delivered an energizing performance during halftime that was so exciting you could even feel it in the concession stand. As always, we love the ways our community connects around our students. It’s hard to believe there are only a few games left before playoffs.
New Business
Mass Band Night
Mass Band Night is October 7th from 6 PM - 8:30 PM. This family-friendly event will feature our 7th - 9th Grade bands performing what they've learned this year followed by our 2025 Show, The Sum of Existence, performed by the Benton Panther High School Band.
This is a chance for our students to showcase their hard work for the community. We’ll be joined by Kona Ice, Taco Xtilita*, and face painting by the Benton Panther art department. Come enjoy a fun evening of live music and great food. Admission is free!
Show Shirts
Show your pride at all our upcoming competitions and events. Order a show shirt today! Shirts may be purchased on Boosterhub for $20 and are available in S-3x. But hurry! Supplies are limited. More information is available on Facebook, or here, in the BoosterHub Store
